Our ABA Therapy Model
At FAC, your child will experience completely individualized ABA therapy. Whether your child is receiving center-based or home-based services, each program is designed and overseen by an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to meet their individual needs.
What are the benefits of center-based therapy?
A center-based learning environment can limit distractions and provide therapy rooms to work on individual targets efficiently.
What are the benefits of home-based therapy?
Home-based services provide the opportunity for in-home parent/caregiver training, as they are combined with client treatment.
These sessions can be planned to cover specific topics and offer parents an opportunity to ask questions in an environment designed to accommodate these important discussions. Furthermore, the quality and quantity of therapy supervision by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) of direct care professionals is improved with center-based services.
In home-based services, supervision is provided in larger blocks of time but less frequent resulting in more spaced-out contact between the supervisor and the therapist. In a center-based environment, supervisors are able to check-in at any time to ensure procedures are carried out consistently and adjustments to programming can occur as the client’s behavior progresses.
